A soothing and muted palette on this one! Antique 1880s Nine Patch quilt, hand-sewn with various calicos and two wide brown calico edges. A snuggly and medium weight quilt.

Condition: Good, this quilt is without holes, tears or excessive wear, it's structurally in excellent shape actually, although very clean the back of the quilt shows much staining and discoloration and there is some color fade/bleed on some blue calico on the front as well as some wear to the brown calico edges. I say this quilt is in 'good' condition only because of the appearance of the back.
This antique quilt has been hand-washed and hung in the air to dry. It is always recommended to soak quilts to wash and lay or hang in the sun to dry. Do not wash an antique quilt in the washing machine.
