Please note, The Dea Dia brass is a mixture of 75% copper and 25% zinc and is lead and nickel free. Many people experience green discoloring on their skin from brass. This is due to the metals mixing with your particular oils and ph levels. This coloration is harmless and will wash off. To prevent this, you can periodically paint the inside of your brass ring with clear nail polish or lacquer, avoid mixing with moisture and sweat, and and taking off before going to bed or applying lotions or oils.
JEWELRY CARE
To prolong the life of your gold plated and gold filled pieces, we recommend removing your jewelry when doing the following:

swimming (chlorine and salt can affect plating over time), showering, or washing your hands

applying lotions, oils, perfumes, etc.

cleaning, especially with harsh chemicals

rings when getting a manicure and necklaces/earrings when having hair treated
Do not use jewelry cleaner on plated items. You can polish these pieces with a damp cloth.
