Knit by Creta Mae Crewdson who was born March 2, 1931, to Gordon and Dora Darnel Spaulding at Wallace. She grew up in Lincoln County and graduated from Wallace High School in 1948. Skeets moved to North Platte to work and was employed as a secretary in the V.A. Office.
On Jan. 26, 1950, she was united in marriage to Milford Dean Crewdson in North Platte. She also sold Sara Coventry for some time and owned the J & S Knit Shop with her sister-in-law, Jane Alberg for over 18 years. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, pitching horseshoes, hunting, camping, playing cards, did lots of sewing and later in life loved to read.
